Price realism

What buyers pay for, and what they don’t

Buyers price verified earnings, risk, transferability and the work left to do. Sellers who price on the same basis sell faster.

Buyers pay for

  • Verified earnings
  • Transferable traffic and customers
  • Recurring, retained revenue
  • Clean operating and domain history
  • Low concentration and platform risk
  • Clear documentation and a simple transfer
  • Low owner dependence
  • Reasonable transition support

Buyers don’t pay for

  • Hours spent building it
  • The seller’s financial needs
  • Unsupported projections or unexecuted ideas
  • Revenue without costs
  • Temporary traffic spikes
  • Automated appraisal numbers on their own
  • Backlinks that can’t be verified
  • Potential the buyer has to create after closing

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost to sell?

Listing is free and you pay only when the sale closes. Managed-sale success fees start at 15% and decline progressively as the sale price rises. Each rate applies only to the portion of the price inside its tier. See fees and the calculator.

What happens after I submit?

We review your details within one business day, ask for verification access where needed and send you a realistic valuation. You decide whether to list.

Will my site be public?

No. Business listings are anonymous. The URL and financials are shared only with buyers who sign an NDA.

How do I get paid?

Under $20,000 the buyer pays us through Stripe and we pay you out after the transfer completes. From $20,000 the sale closes through Escrow.com, which releases your money once the buyer confirms.

What if I only want to know what it's worth?

Pick “a valuation first” in the form, or use the website valuation or domain valuation page.
